SPEAK STORY SERIES presents Native American storyteller Tokaheya Inajin (Kevin Locke)

Don't miss a special Speak Story concert featuring South Dakota's Kevin Locke. Of Lakota and Anishnabe descent, Locke is a world famous visionary Hoop Dancer, preeminent player of the Indigenous Northern Plains flute, traditional storyteller, cultural ambassador, recording artist and educator. While he learned from his immediate family and community, he has gone on to study with extended family in every part of the world. Through this work, he has learned much about global citizenship and how we each can draw from our individual heritages to create a vibrant, evolving global civilization that embraces and celebrates our collective heritage. A recipient of the National Heritage Fellowship, he has performed for more than 40 years of performing to hundreds of thousands of people in over 90 countries.
